Here are a few tips to make this a FUN and memorable experience!
1) Please be on time! Pretty Pretty Please? Your time starts at your booking. Also, I will do my best to stick to the schedule, but I will also ask that you are flexible with the unpredictable. Because, kids.
2) Make this a family affair, especially if you have young kids, get in the portrait with them. There is plenty of room for everyone, and trust me when I say that young kids will feel better if you are there next to them during this brand-new experience. Even if you do not plan to be in the picture, come picture ready JUST IN CASE. Infants will need to be held.
3) Dress is festive, but make sure it's something that can get a little messy. Go overboard, over the top and FUN. Bows. Ties. Pajamas. Santa Suits. GO OVERBOARD.
4) First picture will be a 'smile and look at me' picture but then the rest will be mostly candid. 5 minutes of flour play (flour will be heat-treated and safe to play in) 5 minutes of 'gingerbread dough' (play-doh) play, and a couple shots with 'fresh cookies' out of the oven with some time to clean up in between!
