Your palms are sweaty, your heart is fluttering, and as your loved ones stand all around, you are immersed in the moment of truth:  PINK or BLUE?   Either way, this is one of the most anticipated moments for any couple--especially first time parents!  Why wouldn't you want to capture this moment on camera? 

The concept below with the adorable cupcakes (courtesy of the talented Farozan at Cupcake Novelties, Winchester VA) is a fun twist on traditional gender reveal sessions by combining a session and party. Make sure to scroll down to the video as well!

How it works:

The answer is in the color of the frosty filling !

On the day of your gender determination ultrasound, have the technician put the gender of your baby in a sealed envelope (don't peak!) I will pick it up from you that day or the following day, and I will correspond with any other outside person (including the cake decorator) involved with your reveal. 

You can do this intimately with just you and your significant other (and kids, if you have them already) or you can combine a session with a gathering of family and friends, like this couple (I think one of the cutest parts of this session was everyone at the party getting to make a guess!).
